BiblioDOC: boost your information literacy skills

BiblioDOC is an online course designed by the University Library Service for UniMi students. It’s especially useful if you’re working on your Bachelor's or Master's thesis, but can also help you write reports more effectively and build valuable skills for your future career.

BiblioDOC will help you identify, locate, evaluate and make the most of the online and offline information resources offered by the University.

The course consists of video tutorials and additional learning materials, organised into five modules: Setting up your research; Recognising and identifying various types of resources; Search tools and methods; Evaluating information; Organising and referencing materials. Each module ends with a short assessment test.

At the end of the course, you will be issued an Open Badge, which can serve as proof of your soft skills throughout your academic studies and beyond, as you can include it in your CV.

The course is asynchronous and available both in Italian and in English on the Moodle e-learning platform.
