Soft skills
Soft skills are skills that are not tied to a specific occupational field, but can be applied across all professional careers. A typical example would be interpersonal and communication skills. Students can complement their academic studies with training in soft skills.
Student enrolled in the academic year 2025/26 must acquire 6 ECTS of soft skills.
The Master’s degree programme in Molecular biology of the cell has decided to recognise credits for the soft skill course of Patenting and Technology Transfer.
Furthermore, it has been decided that international students who choose to acquire 3 ECTS in “Additional Language Skills Italian” (see section Italian language for foreigners tests and courses) must choose the soft skill course of Laboratory "Data Visualization Narratives" to acquire the additional 3 mandatory ECTS of soft skills.
